Digitally alone

I've always heard from my parents that their decade(somewhere in the 20th century) was more joyous people of that time had strongest relations and deep mindset.

I've always felt being criticized as our older ones never liked this part of decade. I always thought that how a past without advanced technology, no social media, no youtube, no drama on net and no phone or Internet. How could it be fantastic?

As I'm growing older (not that old). It made me realized that how technology sorrounds us but we are still left alone. We have a thousands of friends on social media but we barely can talk in gatherings.

Whenever dinner was served, everyone gathered round the table and used to have a healthy conversation. Cracking some dad jokes, discussing future plans etc. Now everyone love to have dinner while faces towards modern, slim smart led tv ,eating without mumbling.

People used to wait for letters of their loved ones. Waiting for arrival of postman, tremendous harmony of receiving the note full of love, feeling emotions through those words that made them smile. Now we are used to ignore calls so we can chat only if we are not busy enough.

Family gatherings were used to be fun. Having chit chat with aunts, teasing cousins, cracking lame jokes on which everyone used to laugh hard. Now, everyone's heads are buried in the device which emit light and shows tremendous amount of drama and funny videos.

In our elders era, they were curious for their neighbours, friends and relatives. Always taking care in their forfeit. Now we are more interested in celebritie's lives and fuel happening between them. Little do we know if our neighbour next door is starving or stuck in family feud.

Technology is amazing. Buts sometimes it slowly makes us alone by grabbing us in her cozy arms. Making us digitally alone. We can't refrain from it but we can also maintain a good healthy life with it.

Lots of 💖
Missable

I just realized something. The message that I've resisting or trying to avoid is now in front of my eyes. The deeper you understand it...
